I've got an opportunity to purchase a Minneapolis Moline M5. Does anyone familiar with this model have a good idea of what one is worth given that it's in reasonably fair condition....runs but probably need a motor overhaul due to worn rings and head gasket. I'm also looking for owners / maintenance / repair documentation for this model.

I would appreciate comments from anyone who is familiar with this model. It was a great machine when I used to drive it....just don't want to let old memories cloud good judgement.

Shocked to see name like mine. I bought a GVI this spring out of a recycling yard. The engine is stuck, THe rearrims are rustedout, when the junk yard bought it, it was stuck. Haven't had time to start working on it. Would a MM5 be about the same age? Would be interested in last name Spelling and if the families are related! Ralph Springer
