I have a 335 MM to restore and was wondering if it would be a good pulling tractor for the antique events?? It does not have the wide front end though. Is there anything I should pay special attention to during the rebuild? I'm a red tractor freak and know nothing about this Moline.

Thanks, Colin

Hate to dissapoint you but that tractor is too new for those pulls, Antique is for up and including 1939, Classic includes 1949 thru 1955, and you are just a year or 2 above that upper limit

Oh, I was'nt thinking of the year. I guess I'll just have to enter the Mo in a different class.

Pic of our 1957 335 Utility when it was new. Really liked that tractor on the baler with live PTO and TA.

Colin,

The 335 is becoming increasingly popular for pulling due to the interchangeability with 445, Jet Star, 4-star, and U302 engines. They snap together like legos and they are built very simple, strong, and so on. Welcome to the world of M-M! My friend is building one up for pulling and I soon will be too. Gimme a message at [email protected] any time and I'd be glad to help you out finding parts and options for fun and horsepower. Welters is a good place to know when it comes to M-M. They are in MO. I know lots of other people and places. Hope you can enjoy your new tractor!!! Merry Christmas.

Welcome to the world of yellow. I too was a red freak and am now yellow. My advice is to have an IT manual and a parts book on hand for the rebuild. Also get to know the gals at Welters for parts. Sally and Lois 417-498-6496
