Minneapolis Moline Compression Tests

I'm in the process of restoring a 1951 ZAU MM. I ran a compression test and it scored a 90. The test was done using the manual crank instead of actually starting the engine. I just ordered the owners manual and it hasn't come in yet.

Can someone tell me if a 90 is good or bad? I'm not sure if I'm going to need new rings or not.

Thanks for your help

Thats not to very bad considering how you did it. Could be higher but it will probably run well that way and it will probably get a little better after you get it started
