Thanks for all the replies to my UTU post. One thing I forgot was asking if anyone had a spare UTU manual or knew where to get one. Any help would be great. Also, 13.6-38s okay to put on it for tires?

You will want to know tractor serial number as there are at least 4 variations of U manuals. In addition, there are Owners / Maintenance Manuals and Repair Catalogs. As for Repair Catalog - I don't have info on the original Red Nose U's (UTS was R790); next was R1045 (version I have is B) for Universal and Standard U Tractors with KEF Engine (single head) s/n 544001 and after; 3rd is R1056 (I believe E was last version) for tractors 334001 and after with 283A4 engine; 4th is R1115 (I believe A was last version) for UTU S/N 01108298-01113449 (et al UTS, UTC, UTN, UTE different s/n groupings)and 283A4 engines 01914127-01925367; there is also UB & UTS R1119D. Expect similar variations on Owners / Maintenance.

Floyd County Museum. 641-228-1099. Many originals and excellent copies. Reasonably priced.
