Need info on MM RTU as for the availability of parts. Was told it is next to impossible to get point and condenser for this model. What I know about Minneapolis Moline you could put in a thimble and it would run out. There is not very many in my area of the country, N East Oregon. Any info. would be greatly appreciated..... .Thanks Keith

Does your RTU have a magneto? If that's the case, your local parts house may have trouble with points, although I think you probably can get them from somebody who works with magnetos. If it has a distribuitor-Like GEE-VEE said, the points are NAPA CS763 and the condenser is rr174.

Its not a terribly easy swap from a magneto to a distribuitor, either. You have to change the gears that drive the magneto/oil pump shaft.

I would say you can get any part for the R. The points and cond. are very common for the Delco-Remey dist. Good part sources in MO and OH. Get a copy of the Minneapolis Corresopnder for information about part suppliers. Some parts are cheap, some are $$$. Just depends on how bad you need one and how many are out there.
