I just helped my neighbor put a rebuilt mag on an RT 100. We got it running but it's not running the best.Is there a way to adjust the timming ? To me it looks like you bolt on the mag and that's it. Hopefuly a new set of wires and plugs will fix it.It's been sitting for a few years.

You might want to pull the two side covers off and check that the valves are moving freely. They might be gummy after sitting. Mike

If you loosen the bolts your tightened when installing the mag, you should be abale to rotate the mag just like you would a modern distributor. You do need to loosen both of the bolts.

Never heard of a RT-100 its probably an RT or R or RTU my RTU has RT-100 on a number of parts but its really an RTU. Did you put new points and condenser it the mag? if not that could be part of the problem
