I know these are very rare tractors and I"ve been looking for one now for some time, But i was just wondering if anyone out there could direct me to one or know where one might be for sale. Also if anyone knows, could you tell me if these are a good tractor. I now have 5 U"s but all gas and would like to add a diesel to the collection.

If you go to minneapolis-moline.com and look in the classified ads there is one for sale. It is located in east central MN.

At one time there was lots of U diesels in Canada. I know where there is 6 in a twenty mile radius. Most are in running condition. Four are UTSD and two are UTSD Specials.

When new they weren't very powerful. If I remember right the gas U had more horsepower than diesel. They ran a 283 cube same size as the U gas. The diesel system is the same as 5 Star.

(Of the 6 I know of I own the two Specials and one 1954 utsd)
