If I were at my computer I could try and figure out how to post pictures of my "jd" 670 lp. When I went to look at it the guy told me it it had been painted. He did not tell me it was painted green. When I got close, and lost, I went to the neighbors and asked about directions and he asked me what I was looking at. I told him a mm 670 and he looked at me and said, "It's painted green". I thought he was joking b/c we had drove for 5 hours or more and I also had a JD green sweat shirt on so I thought he was being smart. Anyhow, I pulled in and there it was, my dad made me buy it b/c it was so different. It has been decaled, painted and done a nice job for the money. The story was that the old man went to Florida and told the son to paint all the tractors green, instead of saying Paint all green tractors. They were starting in on the old mans International or allis he had there to do the same. I would read up on posting pictures and post it sometime.

You have the best of both worlds, a good tractor and a decent color... just kidding, I have all three colors

Yeah, I dont think it is a Z after looing at it some more, the rear rims are wrong and the steering wheel is too low for a Z. I think your right, it looks more like a U. Its hard to tell without the front end on it.

Yeah Shep - that's a late 40's UTU missing it's nose alright. I've got one just like it only wearing faded (but correct!) "prarie gold".
