Well I've had her a couple months now and got most of it working right. Hydraulic leaks fixed, engine tuned. Generator rebuilt right and new regulator. Also changed out the mud in the engine for antifreeze. I think it appreciated that! Now I need to find new gauges and figure out the governor linkage. All the gauges were broke in a hail storm and don't work at all. Anyone got any idea. The governor is touchy to say the least. There is a spring on the rod, near where it goes in the engine but it's not hooked on iether end to anything. If I just barely tap the throttle lever forward it races and I have to play with it to find the right spot. Also the lever coming out of the front of the engine is loose in the hole it goes in and leaks a little oil. I'm scared to get in there because I can't find one single part listed for these things anywhere and what if I need something once I get into it. So far I have been lucky and have been able to make or improvise what I need.

One last problem is my PTO runs all the time. It doesn't turn off with the lever or with the clutch. I've never been into one of these so any advice you all have for any of this will be greatly appreciated.

Oh it's a MM 4 star LP gas powered and it has a TA. At least that works good. It's a pulling beast too but I just want to be able to get it right or I'm gonna have to get rid of it. Can't have the motor going south on me while I got hay on the ground. My only other tractor is a restored super c and It can't do the hay baling too well. The poor tractor jumps all over the place doing that. Just too light. Thanks guys!

I just got though rebuilding my jetstar this summer and got everything I need for the 206 engine. There are countless places to get the parts you need and I have a parts book and can email copies from it to you. I can even get parts for you if needed.

Governor: set up the governor as a service manual tells you to, if this doesn"t help drastically DO NOT use this tractor, your governor NEEDS replacing, we stock new ones here. We work on lots of these MM"s and the only ones we"ve seen blown up were due to faulty governor operation. New governors are cheap. PTO: Sometimes the pto rotates due to heavy weight fluid friction, there is no brake on these pto"s, the worst scenario here is warped discs that could need replacing, we also have these. Any questions call 920 295 3278 or email [email protected], Dale

Thanks for the replies. Could you EMAIL me a parts breakdown for the governor and the PTO. I am a mechanic but all my experience is case, David Brown, International, Kubota and farmall. I never even saw one of these things before I bought this farm and inherited this old 4 star with it. Thanks a lot!!!
