I have a massey 97 (G705) and use it for a few tractor pulls. I was wondering if anyone ever took a pump off a g1000 or another later engine that had the advance mechanism in it and what the results are. About 1800 rpm it starts to flutter a bit due to the pump not being able to put out that much fuel at that speed. We have had it rebuilt to factory spec and tested and anything above that speed, it gets to be a uneven. Thanks for any help. Jake

I put a G 1000 pump on my G 6 have to use the injection lines and the pump drive and adapter housing. but mine had a Botsh pump on it if you have the roostamaster pump on it already it should bolt up. mine did fine up to about 2300 then flittered a bit but that is a charterstic of the engine because of the Latova style injection with the energy cells. I've often wondered the same thing myself. I have a Massey 97 and was hoping to find out the same info. Thanks for asking the question, we'll just have to wait and see.
