These tractors were made in row crop, industrial and utility configurations. Diesel and lp gas versions are scarce. Aprox. 41HP, 4100-4800 lb.; most heavy iron parts for these tractors should be available from tractor yards. As with most torque amplifier systems, the available Ampli-Torc system required more attention than the straight drives.

We bought a new 445 in 1958. It was a great tractor. It would pull anything our 51 U would pull and was small enough to replace our John Deer B and Ford 8N for haying and loader work. We never had any problems with it except the first year with the 3 point hitch. They fixrd it under warranty with upgraded parts and it never gave any more trouble. My Dad sold the farm in 1974 and the 445 with it. The people who bought it used the 445 until 2000. It was used hard and had a ton of hours but was very reliable. I just bought one to restore. I think they were by far the best 40hp made in the late 50s.
