This is a picture of my U pulling a couple of weeks ago in the 5500 lb class. I think I need to get a little weight on the nose, becuase the front got a lot higher before I was done.

Actually, The guy who pulls a U down here in NC (5700#) adds his weight mostly near the bell housing.

Marion,

I haven't done a whole lot to it to lighten it up. I did take the hyd. off of it, but that is about it. It still has the PTO and fenders. I don't have a very heavy seat on it though. It is a 1949 model with the one peice rear hub. I think those are lighter than the two peice hub and cast center.
