I just got it and was wondering how many were made. Serial #26700076. Right now it isn't very powerfull but the fuel stinks and I got filters and will drain and replace the fuel. Played with JD diesels time for something differant! There are hardly any in my area, a few letter series at best. The high torque works great but low is really weak. A recent post said to have it warm up first in high. Will this help it or will I be taking something apart later. I want to get a service book before the fun begins.

Hard to tell on the torque, until you get the tractor well warmed up in high (we're talking at least a half hour of movement under load, not just sitting at idle- its the drivetrain that has to get warmed up). Chances are you will find that the low side is still weak- many are worn out. About a $500 fix, for parts- and you do the tractor split. May want to just run in high, as the torque isn't too useful in practice anyhow, because the split it too big- instead of splitting gears (like the Oliver), it reduces speed by at least a third, and you'll find it's more useful just to shift to lower gear instead.
