Need help identifying old M-M tractor

Have an old M-M with only single tire front end. Can not make out the model number or serial number on the one plate I have found on the engine. Any clues as to where else I may look?

There should be another plate on the right side of the transmission as you look from the drivers seat. Also a little more diescription would help. Does it have a hand clutch? Is it an overhead valve motor, or does it have a flathead on the side? what about muffler? Straight up out of the middle of the hood, out of the fron corner at an angle, or up the side above the carb?

With a better word picture we may be able to ID it with out the plate.
