I would like to get the word out that on Oct. 2nd, my friend will be opening his doors to people that are interested in old MM tractors, parts, and literature. He has been selling and repairing tractors for 50 years and has a parts garage full of parts, many new still in the box or bag.
We will get together in Poultney, VT at 9am on 10/2/04.
Any questions or directions please e-mail me.

Philip, I will get you the address. He thinks that he has a starter not sure on the Hyd. pump.
He postponed last weekend, so we will go out to his shop this weekend.

I would be very interested in attending Oct 2 show. I live in Ct and have two MM. One specifically a "big mo 500" needing parts. It has a loader and a back hoe on it. Early 60"s I think
with a 206 engine

Can you give directions or who can I contact to get them

thanxs

I have a Jet Star. Please ask your friend if he has an owners manual or any manuals for this tractor. The Hydraulic pump also leaks, does he have a pump or advice for this problem? I dissassembled the pump, applied sealant but it still leaks. Plus Here is my last post:I have a Minneapolis Moline Jet Star that needs new oil in the Transmission/rear-end. My manual does not cover how to changing the oil nor what type of oil to use. I purchased 10 gallons of 80/90 weight gear oil but then someone asked if the Ampli-torque system used the same source of oil and if so 80/90 weight might be too thick.

Does anyone have access to a Jet Star Manual that covers these items? If so are you willing to sell me the Manual or copy the Manual and sell me the copy or ???? I am hoping for the straight accurate skinny on this one.
I know this is a lot, hope somone is willing to help.
Thanks
Job Guy

Could you please list the items being sold. Is this an auction or is it first come first served?
Thank you and any information. Don Brown

This must be Charlie and Evy's place. For those who don't know them they are about the nicest people that you would ever want to meet. They live a simple life but were devoted to their customers and really one of the last of the family dealerships where there family was their customers. They have long been involved in agriculture in southern Vermont and have been involved in creating the snowmobile club there. I am sad to hear that they have decided to sell but I guess when I'm in my 80's I'll be thinking the same way. Let me tell you folks, these are people have to be one of the last of the small but devoted dealerships around. They represented the best that Minneapolis Moline had to offer.

You got it Ike, They are fantastic and even though Charlie is around 85, he is still helping friends and neighbors keep their tractors running.
I hope we can help him sell off some parts and tractors.
If anyone is interested please e-mail
Thank you,
John Ackermann
