what did the ztu have for a magnito kill switch. does anyone have a kill switch for sale.are their any reproduction battery box covers,or are their any originals to be found. thanks jt

The earlier ZTU's just had a knife switch for the shutoff, the switch with resister to increase charge rate could be the light switch, used with generators with cutout relay only. I could not find a knife switch for mine(saw one on ebay once have manuel showing original) so I used a pull switch. Since you are looking for a battery box lid, I infer you have electrics on your ZTU. The switch you need is available, but its about $50-$60. It also controls the charging rate when you turn on the lights.

I just don't recall where I saw that switch last.

There should be somebody with a lid. You can also post on the classifieds on www.minneapolis-moline.com.
