Recently traded for M670 LP that has not been used much recently. While pulling a wheel disc the hydraulic hose that runs from the pump to the stuff under the seat was jumping and making noise! Is this air in the system or something more serious?

I don't know much about the lift/pump on the Big MMs. but on Jetstars, if the filter is above reservoir level (on the right side, under the seat) it better be sealed well, or else the pump will suck air. It won't leak, fluid runs back to reservoir when you shut it off.

River Dale Farm Shops can help with info if you can get up with them.
