Do the Avery Vs have PTO or hydraulics? Can you find parts? Are parts expensive because they are not as common as a Cub? The tractors seem to be reasonable. Where can you find Info? Thanks for any help.

1. I claim to be a MM nut, but If you want a 'using' tractor, get a Farmall cub. You can see better, got more than one place to put your feet (really makes a difference if you cultivate for an hour or more), can get on and off reasonably well and get better hydraulics to boot.

2. Averys could be had with both hydraulics and pto., but not all were equipped with them. If you want one with hyudraulics and pto, look for one, probably double your investment by the time you added both.

3.you can probably come up with most parts you will need, either new, nos, or used, but for some, especially engine parts, it will take some looking. Yes, you will probably pay more for them when you do find them.

As far as info, there is the "Tru-Draft" registry on the internet-do a search for 'B.F. Avery' There's also some helpful folks on the MM website www.minneapolis-moline.com

p.s. Mom's V wide open in high gear will outrun Dad's Cub.
