If your R has 14 mm thread plugs -most do- The correct plug is Champion J8. (Either CJ8 or J8C, whichever is the longer plug.) I've run them for years with no problems.

If by chance your R has 18mm thread plugs, Use a Champion D21 if you are going to show it (operating less than 1 hour with normal loads) and a D16 if you're really going to work it.

If you are the type to cuss Champion, get your auto parts store to cross those numbers to your favorite brand.
