I have a White 2-150 that has been gushing oil from the timing cover. Saturday I found out that the local dealership's mechanic left a big washer in the timing gear area and it poked a nice hole in the cover. To take the cover off I had to pull back the water pump and the harmonic balancer and when I did that the motor moved back a couple of inches. So my question is how do I time the engine without damaging it?

White's technical service manual #432658 (D585 eng) covers cam and pump timing. You can call me after 9pm cdt and I can fax the pages or copy and mail.218 924 4044 Joe

I'm looking for D585-6 engine parts. Do you have a parts book that you could fax me copies of? I need to rebuild the engine and need some parts.

I will appreciate any help you can provide.
