I posted some photos in the tractor photos section of the G350 I looked at today. Considering purchase,but am worried about finding clutch,pressure plate and bearings. As near as I can see,without having tractor split, the pressure plate actually broke apart on it. I believe all sheet metal is there, has some wiring cobbled and an ammeter mis located outside of dash,left side, seat is of course rotted, fenders badley rusted, hood some small dings and one hinge rusted out, and one lift arm has been welded where it apparently broke. I do know the man bought the tractor new in 1972 and only used it for mowing and raking hay. Engine loose,has 9650 plus hours on it. I would like to own it but something keeps telling me I need to pass on this one. I guess I'm afraid of what would be found once splitting the tractor. I think the bell housing would still be useable as is but wouldn't want to try any heavy pulling with it.Still trying to decide. Thanks for listening.

Also the Long 400 series should be very similar.
I don't know what was popular in your area, but here's a start.

Hey Bob.
I never seen one that color. It was built by Fiat in Italy. It is the same as a Fiat 480, a Oliver 1265, a White 1270 or an Allis-Chalmers 5045. So when looking up in tractor boneyard, these numbers will be really helpfull. It sounds like a tractor that has worked hard, but I would not be affraid to work on it. Of course, you will need extra time and a few dollars to fix it up. If you think you are buying it at a fair price, go for it.

Just got an answer from one of the sites recommended here. The price for complete clutch replacement including PTO clutch pack and all bearings comes to $740.00 (yikes) At least I now know parts are available so now maybe some more shopping around is necessary.I really appreciate all of your advise and help in this matter. Again, thanks to all who are helping me.PS: still have three more leads on places to buy parts. Will try to remember to let everyone know how this turns out.
