Hello guys i just changed the old ensign propane system on my gb to a new inpco system. Model k vaporizer and a model 100 carbuerator. Never used it til today at the tractor pull. I started out like it was going to do everything looked and sounded good then all of a sudden it died just like u turned the switch off. I tried to start it it wouldnt so i went to the vaporizer and pushed the little button on the front of it then she started and i snapped the clutch in right where she stopped and made a full pull not a single problem the rest of the way. I was wondering if anyone knows what might have happened? Im new to propane and just learning about it. Thank you guys very much also is there any little things i can do to the old brute to really beat those John Deere's?? It has 10A4210 heads on it is that right? One more thing does anyone have those big heavy round weights they might want to get rid of. I have 23.1-26 tires on the back and i cant find any wheel weights thanks again guys sorry the message is so long..

If I was guessing, and I guess I am, you probably ran lean and then it coughed and backfired into the intake blowing the fuel away. For a hard pull those LPs need to be circulating a lot of hot water and running on liquid. I have a friend that turns a GB 3400 RPM on a stock engine. It will not only outpull the Deeres, it will pull the Deeres. The 4210 is my choice of head.
