My dad just gave me a UT-100D. The serial number is 336958U. Can anyone tell me the year it was made? Also need to know where I can purchase parts. (gaskets etc.)

I appreciate any help. Dad is 88 today, Aug. 7, and I would like to get it running again quickly so he can hear it.

Terren,
You most definitely have a 1947 UTU with the narrow front end. Yours is one of a batch of 719 UTU (336452-337170) made in the middle of the 1947 production run. I like dealing with Welter's in Missouri (417-498-6496) or try your local NAPA dealer for gaskets. I believe Victor makes most of the gaskets for the U motors.

What you gave for a serial number is for a 1947 UTI. It is an industial version to th eU tractor. Heavy front axle with cast centers on front wheels instead of pressed steel. The UT-100D is just a casting number for the housing. There are lots of places to purchase the gaskets for it as well. If you email me your location I can see if I can find someone to help you out.
