I own a UTU, but have spent time running a buddy's UB (punch below for a pic). Each tractor has it's unique "charm". The UTU is easy to climb on/off, and with it's low platform and hand clutch it is easily/safely driven while standing. For constant stop & go, climb on/climb off operation it can't be beat. It's also nice for parading - you can kick the seat all the way to the left then safely perch a wife, kid or whoever there to ride along and enjoy the sights. The operator station on the UB on the other hand is a climb. Though once you're up there the view is nice! The foot clutch makes the UB easier to maneuver in tight spots. However the left side brake pedal on the UTU is better suited for quick operation for pulling, etc. Neither tractor has power steering, but both seem to steer a bit easier than an equivalent Farmall, JD, etc - especially once underway. My opinion: If you find a halfway decent example of either model, grab it!
