Throttle linkage

What year R was the throttle linkage down by the hand clutch mount? Can a person put this throttle linkage on a Za I would like to make a neater look and with the throttle rod coming up the left side by the steering shaft looks sloppy

My '49 R has it by the wheel, my '48 R has the throttle on the transmission. '49 was the year MM began building ZA's which had the throttle by the wheel.

Shouldn't be much problem to change, but If its easy to reach by the wheel, I'd leave it there. in the location on the transmission, expect to lean forward every time you want to adjust it-at least that's what i have to do on my ZTU.
