I have removed the hydralics from under the seat and then the cover plate over the pto clutch area. Where can I get the rubber seal which seals the hyd dextron II fluid path through the clutch/rearend cover via a port from the hyd. unit to the port in the tractor casting going to the hyd pump? There is also an oil ring on a small extended port from the tractor casting which enters the hydralic unit; what is the rubber compound used, (buna N, etc.)? I am also confused of the type of seal which was used between the (1) the cover plate and the tractor casting, and (2) the hydralic unit and the metal cover plate. There were only silicone used by the prior owner which leaked Dextron in the rearend and some 90W out from the coverplate. The dextron found its way into the rearend compartment by way of the mounting bolts for the hydralic unit. I hope this is enough info for some responses. No help in this part of the country; mostly John Deeres and Fords. Southern Oklahoma. Thanks in advance fer yalls help, Stan

Stan,
There should be a gasket and 2 metal shims (around the bolts that hold the 3 point on) that go under the plate. The rubber ring should have a steel insert (ring) that prevents it from collapsing. These items and the o-rings are all available from either Welters in MO or Everetts in OH (740-922-3335).

Make sure you set the hydraulic resevoir straight down with a hoist or you will likely cut an o-ring & have a leak. I also use Shaffer moly lube additive on the o-rings to help them slide in easier.

John

John,
Thanks a million..... ...I will get with one of the suppliers and order the parts. I do have the hydr unit on a hoist; I pulled it off that way. It is not a 3 pt system, but just auxillary hydr's which is standard (I think) on the universal. I wish it was a utility, but it is in such good shape and it does have a home built 3 pt on it which works pretty good. Thanks again, Stan (so. Okla)

Ken,
I'm sorry but I am on a company's computer and not allowed to email. I appologize for this, but I must not make waves here at work. You are wondering why I can do this forum; right? Well it is not traced. Thank you for your concern with me and my moline. I would have emailed you from home, but the virus's have taken it over and I did not want to send you some infected email. Thanks again, Stan
