445 utility

I have a friend that is thinking about selling the 445 uniltiy he has. I guess it runs good. Tires hold air, but worn out. Condition is fair. I think the front grill was missing. Has a paulson loader with hydraulic bucket. Is this model collectable? I think he was going to ask around $1000.00 but he did not know if this was too high or low??

Appreciate your thoughts.

You would think the tractor should be worth more than that as just a "using" tractor, but non-collectors are worried about parts availability, and collectors want one in better shape and aren't interested in the loader. So he's probably about right on the price. I suppose any Moline is "collectable", because of relatively low production numbers, age and "orphan" status- but the 445 is abundant enough that most enthusiasts will want to get one in pretty good shape rather than incur the costs of restoration.
