I'm pretty new to tractor ownership, so please excuse this stupid question.
The throw out bearing on my Jetstar 3 is starting to make noise. Is there a way to grease it? Or should i get ready for my first adventure "splitting" the tractor.

There are two types of bearings you can get that work on these. One type is sealed and the other type has a notch cut out on the back side. This notch you line up with a small hole in the sleeve to grease the bearing some when you grease the sleeve. You could try greasing it by the fitting on the side of the tractor and it may cure your problem. The only problem is not all tractors have this hole for greasing the bearing. If not then you will need to split it. If you need any parts give me a email as I have a LOT of parts for Jet Stars in stock

Not really a way to grease it. There is a hose that goes from the transmission side to the sleeve it mounts on, but that lubricates the slide it moves on.
