I'm looking at a MM model EE down the road. What's the story on this tractor, it looks more like a tug than a tractor. It has four lift eyes. It does have a PTO. Thanks for any information, PK.

Sounds like the R made to military specs. Should have 24" rear tires-foot throttle as well as hand throttle and foot clutch instead of hand. Oil filter on the side of the engine-sheilded wireing and military plugs. Should be 2 brass plates at least-one on side of tool box that is located under the gas tank and one on the fender that shows shipping wts. and length etc. Need more info email me at [email protected] Can also send pics and can help with Serial numbers.

The guy hasn't set a price yet. I'll have to look closer for the things you mentioned. The motor has internal problems, mains & rods. It's not stuck. What are they worth? I've never owned an MM so dum questions will abound. PK

The model EE is the engine model. There should be a tag on the right side of the transmission case.

Since a model EE engine goes into an R tractor and since you said this tractor looks like a tug and has lift eyes, I'm thinking you are looking at an RTI. Possibly military.

Thanks Kelvin. My first thought was a military rig also. It has a plate on the left side showing how to rig the slings. It was yellow (harvest gold?) but was painted red over it. It's about 50/50 now. The old bear looks fairly complete except the radiator cap. It even has the bug eye lights still. Any how thanks for the info, PK.

Sounds like RTI military to me too, better buy that if good price! OR, just send ME the address, I'll check it out for ya! HA! Most were green or odd blue for Navy, but some stayed yellow. Red? Naah! IH guy owned it, I bet! HA! Lights and working ones, BIG plus! Keep those tags on loading it too.
