Need to replace 13.6 X 28 rear tires on my 445. I have found some 28's but they are narrower than the 13.6" on there now. Question, how narrow can I go on these standard size rims? Thanks, Choreboy, Semp Fi.

I would think you could go one tire width smaller with no problems.

I would suggest that unless this is a deal too good to pass up, maybe you should hold out for tires at least as large as what you have. My jetstar has 14.9's on it and the Jet3 has 16.9's. I don't know what width rim you have, though.

Ha! You don't live close to NC, do you? I've got 2 used 45 degree 14.9's, 1/3 tread I'd sell cheap.

Thanks Kevin,
NC is a ways off from my location. I'm a central Hoosier and Knoxville would be the as close as I would get for a reason. I don't know what width rim I have. Haven't taken that close a look yet. Would like to keep the wider tires but it's all in what I can find for the right price. I really want to piece this 445 back to a head turner but need to watch the wallet as I go. Right now I am just using it to haul round bales, run a spreader, and scrape the dry lots and feed floors for my short cattle show string and small hog operation. I also run few Donkeys just to green brake the show calves. To old to do that by hand anymore and using a tractor is to hard on them. Can't believe what it takes just to keep these kridders in grain and at the top of the drive. Thanks for the reply. If you think of any other information I could use, regardless of the topic let me know. All of us are smarter than any one of us. I will be posting something else soon I'm sure. It's always something with these old Mo's. Later, Choreboy, Semp Fi.
