I am looking at purchasing a MM G-1000 wheatland and it has no pto. Is it very hard to install a pto or can it even be done and if so are the parts too hard to find. I helped my grandfather install one on a case with same problem years ago. I need the pto to run a bailer or I have no need of the tractor. Just wondering if it would be worth the trouble. Thanks for the input Jeremy.

I have installed a pto in a G1000 Wheatland but it is a big job. The best way to do it is to purchase a parts tractor (possibly with a blown engine) that has a pto and use the complete backend or to remove the pto parts and install them into your tractor. Hope this helps.
