I have a G1000 Vista LP with a bad motor. I have one of those big Minneapolis industrial motors. Will it fit in my Vista? I don't use it for field work anymore.

I have a G-1000 that I put an HD800 in. Had to cut down the bell, redrill it, bore the crank for the PTO hub and move the starter hole to correct place. It can be done.

The industrial motor will not bolt in your Vista. The bell housing on the irrigation engines is bigger.

Thanks for the info. Looks like i'll overhaul the old motor now. It's been repainted and been in the family for years, so i don't want it to sit in the back of the shed or in a salvage yard.
