Just about done restoring my 41 ZTU. This tractor had electric equipment but not the lights when I purchased it. Should it have 7 inch flat lens or 5 1/2 curved lens or something else for headlights? Next tractor is a 48 RTE what lights used on this? I know only a few RTE's made in 48 this is not one of them, its probably made from two trators.

Steve,
To the best of my knowledge (someone I'm sure will correct me if I'm wrong) both your 41 ZTU and 48 RTE should have the 7" flat lense lights. There were 501 RTE made in 1948 and their serial numbers were 0044800001-0044800501. 1948 was the biggest year for RTE production.

thanks for the response. My mistake it is a 47 serial number, my UTIL is the 48. The RTE is a mutt RTU back half RTE front half. Thanks again
