Hi MM fellas. Just reporting my find at the Lowry Farm PGR show. I was able to pick up a JTU Z engine conversion kit from Matt "Motec" Gall after the auction. It had the radiator spacer blocks and pieces necessary to make the switch. I was under the impression these were not that common, but what a stroke of luck to find it. Continuing to collect parts for this contraption. I think it would be hard to own an ugly J when you could have a beautiful ZT. Never the less, I got some good snapshots of one at the Lowry farm. Good talking to all you MM folks. What a great show with great tractors. Thanks Lowrys!

What do you mean "an ugly J"? There is no such thing, and coming from a MM man, that is dissapointing.

Ugly compared to a ZTU. And a Waukesha motor? Ahhhhh hh!!!!! Downright scarry! A JT is a swimsuit model next to an old A-C. Haha.

Ethan

I call it simplistic beauty. That which makes it different, is also what makes it unique!! How is the conversion coming along? Did your JT come with the Waukesha engine? Do you have still have it? Just curious as I am putting mine back together after a valve job and all and in case I run into something missing just looking for a possible parts source.

Lindsey, I have collected a pile of parts to build mine and several are in different states yet. I'm using an incorrect ZT tranny. Very similar, but a few inches longer. Feel free to e-mail me at [email protected]. I know several guys with JT parts. I don't have the Waukesha....going straight to a certain MM motor. I will not have the tractor bolted together till next year. Yes, simplistic beauty. That is why I like it. Rugged old raw look. Gotta love the air cleaner out front!!!
