Fender interchangability?!!?!?!?!?!

I have just purchased a '53 MM ZAS that is missing the fenders. I was wondering if fenders off a ZTS will work or the basic fender off a regular Z rowcrop. I have the ability to reproduce the steel pieces that drop from the bottoms of the fenders and over to form the operators platform. Any insite of any kind would be a big help, for i am normally a allis guy!!

The correct fenders are shared with 49&up ZA's and ZBs and '50&up U's and UB's. They have the four curved ribs on the inside of the fender.

On a ZAS, they are rotated 45 degrees, the rearmost edge of the fender bolts to the outer edge of the platform. They mount to the axle with a bracket similar to what is on U's and UB's, may be the same bracket, I don't know.

P.S. Does your '53 have live pto? Are the brake pedals on the left or right side?

Kelvin,
Yes it has live pto and the break pedals are on the right side if i'm not mistaken. I don't have it at my place yet but it is bought and paid for, I'm gonna pick it up when the snow melts. I'm no expert on ZAS's so ANY info of ANY kind is always appreciated.
