Can someone provide any info on the model 425B-6 LPG? I would like to know time period it was produced, horse power, weight, how many LPG models made, where to find parts, etc. This tractor was last run 2 years ago and looks to be in good shape. Any idea as to value?

Thanks,
Glen

Do you mean G-6 ? The G VI was built from 1959 to about 1962? Not sure on the last date. 82 drawbar HP. Lots of LP Gas G IV's here in Kansas. I ran one for 14 years. This was one of the most trouble free tractors I ever owned. Parts are easy to get.

You are correct, its a G-6. The data plate is hard to read. Thanks for the info on the tractor. Do you have any idea as to the value?

Glen

Value ??? That's a loaded question. Depends on the area, and condition. I have a very good G VI that I bought for $1,000.00. Saw one sell 2 weeks later for $1,800.00. It was a little bit better than a salvage tractor, but not much. You will get all kinds of prices on all kinds of tractors. Guess it depends on how bad you want one. 1 to 2 thousand dollars seems to be the price range for an average G VI.
