Several weeks ago I placed a want to buy ad in the classified section. I received several very nice replies and have bought several MM implements. I still have several to look at and make a decision about. On price I posted "Realistic". I'm not trying to be cheap, but some of the prices I was quoted seemed outrageous. 1. I have an LS 300 Manure Spreader for sale. I saw one fully restored sell for $3950.00. I will take $3500.00 for mine. With a new floor and paint it will be just as nice. 2. 2 - 14 MM plow on full Steel. $1900.00. Bring a chain saw to cut down the tree growing through the middle of the plow. You will need your own equipment as I can't help you load this. 3. MM Drill. Missing the Steel Wheels. We put them at the entrance to our new home. What's left will make a good yard ornament. $250.00 (This was my favorite) I'm not sure, but I think some people need to look in the dictionary for the word "Realistic". If MM implements are selling this high in your area let me know. I will sell some of mine instead of buying more. I know these people are going to be mad at me for posting this, however - I just can't believe these prices. Am I this out of touch on MM prices?

I still find some reasonable prices on implememts. I buy most of mine 1 bid over the iron buyers though. Finding parts to repair them is a challenge though. AF plows were $25 to $50. Bought a 10 foot KA feild ready for 150 off owner tired of it sitting in fence row. I've found if imp and tractors are well advertised on auctions they sell real good

Here is just a few of the items I have and truly my prices I gave for them.
Pto driven 1942 Harvestor 69 500.00
LS300 The orignal paint and wood is so goog I wouldn't touch it 380.00
Moline hiller/ ridger plow 400.00
MM two bottom pull type tumble bug plow 125.00
MM two bottom three point plow 60.00
This is just a few of the items I and my wife have bought over the past couple of years. There are so good prices on things but you have to look for them. Most of the stuff I have where not really advertised.

It seems like there are many out there who may be searching for a sucker.
I hope this doesn't become common for old implements to be over priced.
I am seeing tons of good old imlements, made from real good metal, being scrapped and sent to China.....too bad we all can't be at the right place at the right time to "save" some of this equipment.
It sounds like you had some interesting price quotes, and you are having a bit of fun telling us about them, no harm in that.

I had a lot of people E-mail me that had resonable prices on their item. I really appreciate the ones that did. I couldn't buy everything :-( but did manage to find new homes for some of the items. One person offered me an IHC mower, not sure why he thought I wanted an IHC product. Anyway it is always interesting when you post a "want to buy" ad. I did recive a lot of good replys and some that were ?????

Roger, I just sold a 3x14" hyd plow, working, for $225 and a 10' UO wheel disc that was all there, ALL apart for $ 100, I thought that was a realistic price, as that was what I would be willing to pay for the same implements. Told the man that if he has a problem to call me and I'll help any way I can, at no expense to him or to me.That's the way I like to be treated and that's the way I plan on treating the MM people I deal with. I've been "taken" several times by seemingly "honest" people. Just gives the hobby, if it's called that anymore, a bad name. I think too many think since we are interested in the MM equip, they can name their price and we'll pay it. Ebay is for them. Glad to see I'm not the only one out there.
