Can't stop oil leak where the front end bolts up into the oil resevoir. Tried to make gaskets. NG Tried sealant on threads. NG After a couple of days or a week, the entire resevoir is leaked out. Before I realized how bad it was, I neglected to check oil one day and thought I seized the darned thing up. Do any of you guys have any suggestions? This baby starts and runs great but I can't just keep letting oil and $ drip onto the ground and into my water. Thanks a lot from New York!

Are you certain its not the seal on the sector gear shaft?
Is there any chance you've got a crack in either the housing or the flange that carries the lower bearing.
(I'm assuming you've got a wide, fixed width tread front on this machine.)
