I don't imagine a mm wire tie baler is very rare? How much would one be worth in fair shape?

Utah John; If your not particular John Deere has made many wire bailers. The Mennonites tended to be one of JD'rs biggest customers. You could always paint it Harvest Gold to fit in. In either case keeps your eye out for a rig that was fairly common in the early years. Put stomach magnets in your cattle to play it safe.

I don't know, but my grandpa and a neighbor bought one. It was the first pickup baler they had. It lasted one season due to leaving about 6 inch pieces of wire in the bale. Lost some cows due to hardware, I have seen them all painted up. They are quite a sight with all the moving parts.

I saw one sale in Nevada for $250. The engine was stuck but the rest was very nice.

My personal experience with an MM baler leads me to suggest that you would have more fun wrestling with a mad bull than that baler. Most of them went to the scrap dealer real fast for a very good reason.
