I can probably make a copy of mine then cut you one with the plasma cutter. I have to fix mine up a bit anyway. There is not much to it so it could be quite easy to make one. Did yo replace your guards on the bar. If so where did you find them and what did you use. Let me know.

ralph, this why you need brains when doing sandblast. Some places you just don't use it.
I'll bet you'll go though many fuel filters.

First thing I did was steam clean the in side, put 1/4-20x3/4 bolts many many strap it to the rear wheel and turn it for a few hours. I used a one gal gas can while doing this.Then clean it out, inspect it if you think it's clean seal it

I like Spuds approach best for a really good tank. However, I too have sand blasted the inside of the gas tank but in both cases I was concerned about pin hole leaks. I hosed down the inside of the tank to get the sand out. I bought a white plastic gas tank sealer kit from Eastwood and applied this. It's a multistep process and takes about 2 weeks to completely dry but it does seal the pin holes and encapsulates any residual sand from the blasting operation. We'll see if it holds up long term.
