Dan,
It looks like your engine is 1959 vintage. The 206-L engine came in the Jet Star, 4 Star or 4 Star Super. My 1959 4 Star Super has engine serial # 16300251. I like dealing with Welter's in Missouri. But depending on what you're looking for you might need to know exactly what tractor you have or the serial #. A call to Welter's 417-498-6496 may answer some of your questions.

Brian

look for another plate on the right side of the transmission near the brakes.
You've told us the tractor has a 206 L engine, the serial number of the engine and that there is a casting number 10A9199 on the engine.

To Kevin and G.L. Grumpy, thankyou for your information the only problem is I won't be able to obtain the number until spring as its long drive to it's location and it's under 5 feet of snow. I know that it requires a new water pump and the portion where the exhaust pipe enters the manifold is cracked (part#10a14491).
Knowing the engine is a 206 L where would I go to obtain the above parts ?

Thankyou Dan

Not right numbers? This is off engine side plate maybe? There is another similar plate back farther on tractor, near pedals. Older ones are Letters and later ones have letter and numbers for model. The serial will help with year and model using the first three numbers. 206 is a size of MM engine, not sure what the 1 would be. The 10A number is part number for Cylinders? maybe or crankcase? Every MM part has a 10A number cast in it, it seems. Try to look at pictures here to see if yours is aame or close to any on the Gallery.
