A friend of mine is selling off his collector cars and tractors and I am interested in his JT. It is pretty much complete, runs well, front rubber and rear steel, a fairly straight tractor. May need clutch because it slipped when he tried plowing with it and he can't adjust it any more. Any idea on a value that won't hurt either one of us? Thanks

Jim

Jim, does the JT still have the original wakasha motor in it or has it been up graded to a RE motor?? If it has the original motor, is the manifold solid?? I prefer the original and is worth more in my view,, but that is just me. Mike

I'm with you Mike, I'd probably not be too interested if it had a replacement RE engine. I saw the tractor last summer at the fella's family threshing bee, not looking at it with purchase in mind. I'll have to check out the manifold. It's missing the air cleaner cup if I remember right and has one of those typical 20-30 year old re-paints, but runs well.

Jim,If it has the cast front and rear centers, good manifold, $700 to $1000 would be in my ballpark. Low side of that if it has cutoffs.
