Thinking about starting a restoration on LP version of M5 s/n 17101740. Anyone have thoughts about parts availability, value, etc. It is complete, good sheet metal, needs new rear rims (power-adjust 15.5 x 38), unfortunately it is locked up but was supposedly running when parked (about 20 years ago). Engine is 336-4 s/n 16901767.

Sounds like an excellent candidate for restoration. Rims are available as are engine parts. The LP engines are the ones that get stuck the easiest due to the 'dry' fuel.

I have 1 very good power adj. wheel that will fit your tractor. It has a almost new 15.5/38 firestone field and road on it will sell rim and tire for 300.I'm in Md Glenn
