I recently acquired a 1939 M-M model RT. I have three questions and probably more comming...
Where can I find an oil filter? Does NAPA carry them? If so what is the part number?

It came with a set of 36 inch rear wheels the owner threw in, are these correct?

It has factory hydraulics, can I cap off the output without hurting anything or even remove the hydraulic pump and install a cover plate?

I am going to be ordering some manuals on payday, so hopefully that will answer some other questions I have.

This is our family's first M-M product, I am very impressed with the quality ot this tractor. Thanks in advance- Zeke.

I'm sorry for the delay in responding. The tractor is an early model which uses engine oil pressure to power the hydraulics.

Thank you for the help with my questions, it is very much appreciated. Zeke.

The NAPA number is 1108. You can remove the pump, cover the hole in the side cover and plug both the outlet in the side cover and the return hole In the bolt. You could probably use a bolt without the through hole.
OOps! I forgot, you probably need to hook the oil pressure gauge to that pressure port in the side cover.

Yes NAPA carries filters for these tractors. I do not remember the number off hand.

The 36" wheels would be correct for a 39.

I am not sure about the hyd. The early tractors used engine oil for hyd. They had a small four bolt plate on the upper rear portion of the engine side cover. Let us know if that is the system you have and we can tell you more.

Joe

p.s. welcome to the MM world
