The dash panel is on the Massey 310, 410, 510 combines. There are usually quite afew in the combine yards, seems that better than half have cabs & that helps preserve them. I think there was some discussion on this board, look back aways.

David,

Most of the parts from a 5 Star power steering are the same. The two differences other than the line lengths to the back of the tractor are the right hand line will need bent differently due to a different casting shape and the rear shaft that is splined & sticking out from the worm gear is longer on the 5 Star.

Some of the Massey combines had a similar panel. They had a cylinder tach that goes backwards & some of the oil pressure and water temp gauges are electrical instead of mechanical.

The power steering unit will not fit it. I have a Big Mo 400M I have been pushing around the yard and it doesn't have power steering on it and turns just as easy as though it did. I really don't think you would miss it. If you are wanting to get rid ov that 5-star let me know I am always looking for spare parts to have for my three.

I have had a 335 since 1964 and think that for it's size it is the favorite.Mine does not steer easily unless there is at least a mower or some weight in the back.So I recently bought another 335 w/power steering.Haven't got it home yet.My original one had the 1st type hydraulic lift which was nothing but problems,so got a retrofit. Other than that it has been a great machine.I will hazard a guess that the price is good because I willingly paid more and I will need to repair the TA.Good luck and tell us how you make out.

What did you have to give for the 2nd 335 you just bought? I am looking for one. Are you interested in selling it?
