Anyone had any experience or know a parts/information source for the (automatic transmission) in one of these or the forklift series?? I THINK the trans may be the same in the MY series forklifts and the tugs.

I think that transmission may have been made by Clark. This is just a hunch.

A parts book might reveal the manufacturer of the auto transmission.

Thanks Kelvin, I'll have to see if I can find a book on that thing. My friend in KY still uses it to pull his airplane.

I was told in the early 90's that the aircraft service center at the Stanly County Airport here in NC was still using one too. I think they could also be had with a manual transmission.

John, I bought the engine out of a junk White (MM) forklift (220) at Leinbach Machinery in Winston Salem NC. It had a torque converter, which is still on it, if you need one.

On the airport tug, did a pump (same external dimensions as a Jetstar3 pump) mounted in the engine side cover provide oil to the transmission?
