I can't seem to find wrist pin bearing for my 445. (206) I have new pistons and pins, and the blocks are being bored.
I can buy rebuilt rods, and I can get rod bearings, but all I really need is the wrist pin bearings, for the old rods.(they just look like a brass bushing) Can I rebuild them myself, if I can find them? The new pins are a little sloopy in the old bearings.
Any suggestions or help?

Call Wendell Everett 740-922-3335. He sold me four of them at Christmas.

I saw in some tractor book a guy fitting them with a brake hone, Its a bad idea-they need less than .001 clearance with the pin, more like .0005 and need to be fitted (Honed) by an automotive machine shop on a special machine made for the job.

too much clearance and the piston can separate at the oil groove and ruin your whole day.

A brake cyl. hone can't hold that tolerance from end to end of the bore, and won't keep the bore round, because it has no provision to do so.
