starter on uts

I have gotten a used starter for minnie uts and the drive gear teeth on the starter are bigger than the ring gear teeth. Also, the drive housing on the starter is different. Can anyone tell me if there is more than one starter for these tractors or if I purchased the wrong one. Thanks, John.

Yes i understand they had one year or two that had a different one. A friend had that problem with his UTS
