OK you guys, main spring on my 445 broke right in two. The only tractor dealer within forty five miles of my house can't get just the spring or drive, but will gladly order me a new starter. Anyplace to get just what I need?

Try any automotive electric rebuilder, most can order Delco Remy parts with a starter #. If you are in the Chicago, Milwaukee area, I can recommend one.
