I need .030 bearings for my model U. Welters says that they cannot get them anymore. Anyone know where I could find these bearings? I need rod and main bearings. Thanks in advance.

Call Odessa Bearing and Babbit, Odessa, Texas. They make bearings for most anything. It may be a dual metal bearing, bronz, with a flash coat of babbit. Just a thought.

Clevite hasnt made mains for about 6 years. Federal mogul ran out two summers ago and when they made more they only made STD .010 and .020 mains. You can possibly find some old dealer stock or just put in a standard crank they should be easy to come by or at least one that would turn to .010 or .20
